What “follows the texture” means
A coating can refresh colour and provide an epoxy surface, but it does not automatically flatten rough concrete, dips or repairs. If you want a smoother base, levelling or repair work should be completed before coating.
Preparing concrete
Remove dust, grease, weak paint and loose material. Existing coatings should be checked for adhesion. Cracks and surface defects may require repair before the epoxy is applied.
Coverage is not guaranteed on every surface
Very porous, rough or uneven surfaces can use more material. Coverage figures are therefore planning estimates and should not replace a site-specific quantity check.
Indoor vs outdoor considerations
Outdoor floors face rain, sun and temperature changes, so drainage and substrate condition remain important even when the coating itself is suitable for outdoor use.
